What model have you decided on?

I saw the wheels first from a distance and thought it was a ZR1, super excited me parked next to it only to realize it wasn't when I approached.
Still cool though.

I'm going to go 3.8. It'll be well more than enough power so I won't be tempted to do something stupid to the 2.0 like adding a bigger turbo or changing it up.
if I can wait a bit I'd like to pick up a used Ultimate so I have top trim and all the goodies

Good choice! I love my 3.8
Also, When I was there, they were selling a new year-old Ultimate for the price of the R-Spec I picked up (around 27k), but it was an auto and my heart was already set on manual so I didn't really even look to closely at it.
I expect a full post when you do get it so I can ogle over it.

The only reason I'd go auto with this car is the paddle shifters. They're plenty of fun and its not as bad as a full auto.
Unfortunately Im currently looking at houses so we all may be stuck with pictures of the Stringbean for a while longer.
